In today’s episode, I will share with you about finding hope and inspiration in the comfort of God’s love. Let me ask you this. Have you ever felt loved and cherished, like someone was rooting for you and had your best interest at heart? Believe it or not, that’s exactly how God feels about you. His love for you is unconditional. It’s not hinged on us being perfect or anything, or things going our way, none of that. He loves you, and he loves me. He loves us no matter what we do. So let me tell you a story. Today, during my quiet time, I felt overwhelmed by all the ways I don’t measure up.

A Listening Heart

Then I started to pray, and when I stopped and got really quiet, I remembered a couple’s generosity to me back in 2020. The couple organized a book signing event for Christian authors, and they invited me to be a part of it. They even hosted me in their home for the night. And guess what? They left their bed for me while they slept on the couch.

Lord reminded me of his love for me.

And so this morning, as I reflect on their kindness, the Lord reminded me of his love for me. And then the song the. That Jesus shared for me started playing in my mind. So as I ponder on this flashback, I notice that God often expresses his love for me through others. They go out of their way to show me kindness and to do things for me, but I often miss it because I’m looking for love in a specific way.

Does that ever happen to you? Sometimes I forget that I’m loved. I need a reminder. Do you forget and need a reminder too? Have you been struggling lately to remember how much God loves you? I will share with you where I am at today. I don’t know where you are, but if you are struggling with your value and worth or having difficulty remembering how much God loves you, the Lord wants you to.

That he loves you, and that’s the absolute truth. He loves you. And how does he love you? Through the shared blood of his only son. You and I are loved and free. And here’s what first Peter, chapter one versus 18 and 19 says about this. It paints a wonderful picture of God’s love for you.

Here’s what it says. God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lost its value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless lamb of God. So now, what does that mean? That. God loves you and me so much that he was willing to pay a huge price to save us from our empty life of hopelessness, sin, and despair.

And how did he do that? God purchased us not with gold or silver or some imperishable thing. He paid for the year. He paid for each one of us with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, his only son, the spotless Lamb of God. Wow. So maybe you are in a dark place and feel like God has forgotten about you, or you are struggling with your value.

Perhaps you only see your flaws and how you don’t measure up, how things are not going so well, and how things are messy. Let this verse from First Peter one, verses 18 and 19, speak to your heart and remind you of how much God loves you. It’s time to take a deep breath and just rest in that knowledge of God’s infinite and unconditional love.

So today, instead of focusing on your flaws, you can have faith that you can overcome whatever is weighing on your heart or standing in the way between you and God’s love. So let me invite you to do something. Grab a cup of tea or coffee if you’re the tea kind of person or the coffee kind of person, and just sit quietly with God and remind.

Of his limitless love and acceptance of you. And then, as you meditate on First Peter 1 18 19, let God’s presence feel your mind and heart with joy, peace, and hope as he gently reassures you that nothing, absolutely nothing, can ever stop him from loving. Did you catch that? Nothing can ever stop God from loving you and me.

We are his precious daughters because he is for you. He is for me. We are his children. You and I are unstoppable. You and I can trust him to guide us by His Holy Spirit and to work with us every step, every moment, and in every decision that we make. God’s presence will ensure that his love shines through all that we do.

So, friend, you are beloved and cherished. God is rooting for you each day. He’s rooting for you right now. And let me tell you this, you are an incredible creation, beautifully crafted by our Heavenly Father. I invite you to take a moment. And just be still and experience firsthand the beauty of God’s boundless love for you today.

And as you, as you soak in that, then go out and be a shining light to all those around you. Friend, soak in that truth. Accept God’s love. You are loved beyond, so let’s lean on Jesus’ powerful blood to give us strength. Each day. The power of his blood reaches the highest mountains and flows to the lowest valleys of worry, fear, anxiety, despair, and even to the darkest bit.

Jesus’ blood transcends all obstacles. Friend God loves. So let me ask you this. In what ways have you experienced God’s love through the kindness of others? Think about that today. How is God loving you through the kindness of others? And I would like to close out our time with these beautiful words from this song that was composed by Andre Crouch, the blood that Jesus shared for me.

Here is the lyric. The blood that Jesus shared with me way back in Calvary, the blood that gives me strength from day to day. It reaches the highest mountains, and it flows to the lowest valley. The blood that gives me strength from day to day, it will never, ever lose. Its. It suits my doubts, calms my fears, and it dries all my tears.

The blood that gives me strength from day to day. It will never, ever, ever lose its power. Wow. Father, thank you for the. Your amazing and incredible love for me, I believe, helps my own belief. I receive your deep-abiding love again. Thank you for Jesus. Amen. Wow, friend, thank you for joining many other women and me today on this podcast to discover the treasures in yours.
