Are you a parent or grandparent of young children? Do you stay up at night worrying about them? Are you concerned about raising them well?
Today let us give our worries to God and ask his help to raise these young ones that he has entrusted in our care.
Being a parent comes with a lot of responsibility to care for the young lives entrusted in our care. They are constantly on our minds. We worry whether they are at school, daycare, or when they are not around us. We worry when they are sick.
We cannot watch our children 24/7, but we know that God can watch them because he does not slumber nor sleep. Below are some scriptures to help us.
Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. Psalm 127:3-5
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:13-14
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6
