Do you remember the first time you held your son or daughter in your arms? Your child is a gift and a miracle of love. Your son or daughter may question their purpose and identity because of peer influences and confusion from the world. A bigger issue is that Satan wants to take advantage of the confusion and steal their identity.
Today’s scripture verse reminds us that our children’s identity is secure in Christ.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. Psalm 139:14
Let’s pray
Lord, you created our children with great care, down to the smallest detail, including their personalities. Fill our sons and daughters with a deep understanding of your unique love and help them to know how valuable they are to you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
