Scripture Treasure – Isaiah 26:3

Prayer Treasures Day 14-Peace

What is peace and where can we find true peace?

Peace is not the absence of conflict but the presence of Christ. Peace is found in God as we depend on him moment by moment, day by day.

Before 2015, my definition of peace was to avoid conflict but in 2015 after a tsunami of storms, that included homelessness, I gained a clearer understanding of peace.

Friend, peace, deep peace, lasting peace is having the peace of Christ rule in your heart, no matter the situation. It is moving from a state of agitation to a state of contentment in all circumstances and resting in the One who is Sovereign and in control of all things.

It is knowing and believing that God is our solid Rock all the time and standing on this truth.

So, this day, this month, this year, let us purpose to align ourselves with God and allow his peace to rule in our hearts and dominate our thinking, attitudes, words, and actions.

It is choosing daily to embrace God’s peace that keeps me afloat in every situation. Our scripture treasure verse for today is my constant companion. I meditate on it when my heart wants to flutter.

Today, will you choose to fix your thoughts on God’s truth and enjoy his peace.

Memorize and meditate on Isaiah 26:3. Pray and ask God to give you peace concerning your situation.
