Do you desire deeper intimacy with God?
How is your relationship with God? Do you desire deeper intimacy with him? Today’s verse says let me hear of your unfailing love each morning. To hear of God’s unfailing love each morning means spending time with him in his word and in prayer daily. It means we cultivate and prioritize our relationship with him.
Daniel was a Jewish young man who understood this secret. He had a personal and powerful prayer life that he prioritized above all else, such that when leaders of Babylon plotted against him, they couldn’t find any loophole. Here is what they said, We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God. Daniel 6:5

They devised a scheme, but Daniel was not concerned. He continued his usual practice of going to his room, kneeling and praying three times a day and giving thanks to God.
Daniel ended up in the lion’s den for disobeying the Babylonian king but God delivered him. Why? Because Daniel made it a habit to hear of God’s unfailing love every day, three times a day! You can read more about his story in Daniel 6.
Friend, you and I don’t have to wait for a crisis before we cultivate our relationship with God. If we want to hear of God’s unfailing love, we need to draw closer to him.
God loves you! He desires to have a deep, personal relationship with you.
