Do you remember what it was like to be a teenager? Looking back, it was a time of getting to know myself and my feelings, having friends and being accepted. It was a time of riding on an emotional roller coaster, sometimes happy, sometimes sad, but not fully understanding why.
Besides the physical and emotional changes, teenagers today face enormous amounts of peer pressure, bullying, depression and self-esteem issues.
Teenagers need lots of Tender Loving Care (TLC), support, acceptance, and understanding.
As we think about our teenagers and our relationship with them, let us not be agitated but in quietness and trust, let us turn to God in prayer and ask him for strength and guidance.
