Praying Partners - Hidden Treasures and Riches

Praying Partners

Who are they? They are men and women who come alongside us regularly in prayer. They are seasoned prayer warriors who lift up petitions to the Lord on one’s behalf. Prayer partners are so vital to the Christian walk. Daniel and other wise men faced the possibility of execution for failure to tell and interpret king Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. He called upon his prayer buddies; Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah to join him in intercessory prayers. Specifically, they pleaded with God for mercy and revelation of the king Nebuchadnezzar’s mystery dream.  I imagine these four men flat on their faces before the Lord……pleading, praying and thanking God in advance for the revelation of the dream. God answered their prayers and revealed the mystery dream and interpretation to Daniel. In return, Daniel praised and worshiped the God of Heaven.

I have found that we are not meant to walk the Christian journey alone. We need other believers to come alongside us.  I am grateful to the Lord for my prayer partners. They have been a blessing and God’s ministering angels in my journey.  Many times, when I faced the fiery furnace of trials, I found consolation in knowing that others are praying along with me.  Where are you in your walk with the Lord? Don’t walk alone.  Allow the Lord to lighten your burden through his ministering angels. Pray and ask God to send believers that will encourage your walk and growth in the Lord.  To my prayer partners…you know yourselves…..I say THANK YOU!
