We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed(2Corinthians 4:8-9).
What do you do when the enemy has thrown his best weaponry at you and you still keep standing strong? The enemy pressed hard on every side. He meant to totally destroy you, but you were not crushed. He left you feeling perplexed, persecuted and abandoned, yet you were not in despair and neither destroyed by his tactics. You burst forth in PRAISE, because you know that the all surpassing power that has helped you to stand strong is from God. He is sufficient in every situation. May we praise Him continually for His goodness and faithfulness.
Whatever situation you may be facing, know that God knows about it. He is with you even in the midst of your circumstances. We have reasons to praise Him in hard times!
