Tools to Overcome Discouragement and Connect with Your Vision and Goals
The YouVersion Bible App is my all-time favorite tool for staying connected with God through his word. I listen to the scriptures on audio and read the word daily to find true treasures to guide my day and have God’s peace. The Bible App has helped me sharpen my listening skills.
The App has over 500 million downloads and 2647 Bible versions in 1775 languages for FREE. The Bible App also has free plans on various topics to help you grow in your relationship with God daily. Other cool features include a verse of the day, space for recording your insights, prayer, and the ability to connect with friends in any part of the world and study God’s Word together. Bible Gateway hosts several great resources for easy reading and studying God’s word. You can listen, search, and share the Bible in many different versions and translations, staying connected in God’s word. Studylight provides the right tools to help you study scriptures and apply them to your life. You can explore, read, and learn the word of God and go deeper with commentaries, concordances, dictionaries, and encyclopedias. https://www.studylight.org/
Journaling is another favorite tool that I use daily to capture my thoughts and insights from scripture. I journal in the morning to dump my thoughts, reflect on the day ahead, practice gratitude, and write my prayers.
For me, an essential benefit of journaling is the ability to use it as a space to plan my goals and reflect with questions like, what’s working well? What’s not working? What needs tweaking? and What am I thankful for?

Community: Technically, this is not a tool, but you cannot achieve your dreams alone. You need support from others who believe in you and your vision. Surround yourself with a community of believers where you can receive support, encouragement, and prayers. I am grateful for the help of sisters in my Church.

So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. James 1:2-4
But with the right tools, resources, and trust in God, we will overcome discouragement and not quit.
